Free Artwork Setup

We offer free artwork setup with every order. Simply upload your images using the 'Upload Artwork' option or email them directly to hello@merchkind.com, and we'll do the rest.

We accept the following file formats in both CMYK and RGB image files, but please note that RGB files will be converted to CMYK for printing, which may slightly affect final colours...

.psd, .jpg, .png, .eps, .ai, .svg

We recommend ordering a sample of your design before proceeding with a larger order, to ensure that you are happy with how your final product will look.

Hole Placement

• By default, we’ll add a 2mm hole at the top centre of your charm.
  
• Prefer your charms without a hole? Leave us a note at checkout and we’ll make them hole-free.

Borders

We add a thin 1mm border around the edge of your design, which creates a more durable finished product.

What material are the charms made from?
Our wooden charms are made in the UK using FSC®-certified sustainable wood, ensuring each piece is kind to both your brand and the planet.

Are the woods sustainably sourced?
Yes. All our wood comes from responsibly managed forests, certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®) to guarantee full traceability and sustainability.

What sizes and quantities are available?
You can choose from multiple size variants (15 mm, 25 mm, 40 mm, 50 mm, 65 mm, 80 mm, 95 mm) and quantity packs (1, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500, 1000).

Do the charms come with holes for attaching?
Our charms come as standard with a hole cut into your design for jump rings, chains, or keyrings.

Can I order charms without holes?
Absolutely. Just let us know via a note at checkout.

Do you add any border to the design?
Yes, we automatically add a 1 mm border around your artwork to protect the edges and increase durability.

What’s the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Our minimum order is 1 charm, making it easy to test new ideas before placing a larger order.

Can I upload my own artwork?
Yes! Upload your artwork using the 'Upload Artwork' button when placing your order or send your artwork to hello@merchkind.com along with your order number.

What file formats and colour modes do you accept?
We accept most file formats, including .psd, .jpg, .png, .eps, .ai, .svg. We accept RGB and CMYK files, however please note we will convert all designs to CMYK for printing.

Do you provide a proof before production?
We don’t send digital proofs — there’s really no need! We just add a tiny 1 mm border and a small hole to your artwork before production.

How long does production take?

How is shipping handled?
We ship all orders from our UK studio using tracked and reliable couriers. UK delivery is free for orders over £130, and international shipping is available at checkout.

What’s your returns policy for custom items?
Because every order is made to your design, we can’t accept returns for custom items unless there’s a fault or production error, in which case, we’ll replace or refund immediately.

Do you guarantee colour accuracy?
We do our best to keep colours as true to your original artwork as possible, but exact colour matching isn’t guaranteed. Variations can occur due to differences in monitor displays, the natural materials we print on, and the colour profiles used by both your design software and our printers.

Can I order a sample first?
Yes. We highly recommend ordering a sample charm of your artwork before committing to a full run, ideal for checking colours, cut, and finish.

Can I include multiple designs in one order?
Of course. Depending on the quantity of products ordered, you can have up to 5 unique designs per order.

Can I have more than 5 design per order?
Sorry, not in a single order. If you’d like to include more than 5 designs, you’ll just need to place an additional order for the extra designs.

What printing technique do you use?
We use direct-to-wood UV printing, which bonds your artwork to the surface for a long-lasting, fade-resistant finish.

Will the print fade over time?
Not easily. Our UV inks are durable, scratch-resistant, and fade-resistant, even with everyday use.

Can I change or cancel my order?
You can make changes or cancel your order as long as production hasn’t started. Once we’ve begun production, we’re unable to make any changes or cancellations.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Postage rates and delivery times vary depending on your location and will be shown at checkout.

Is VAT included?
All prices on our website include VAT for UK customers. International buyers may be subject to local taxes, customs or import duties.

What if my order arrives damaged?
If your order arrives damaged or defective, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos. We’ll replace or refund right away, no fuss.

What is your price match or guarantee?
 If you find a UK supplier offering the same product under the same conditions, we’ll beat that price by 5% (subject to verification). See terms.

We aim to dispatch every order within 5 to 10 business days.

During busy periods, such as the run-up to Christmas, our turnaround times may be a little longer. If this happens, we’ll always do our best to keep you informed.

• Estimated times: Our dispatch times are estimates, not guarantees.
• Urgent orders: If you need your products quickly, please email us before placing your order. We can confirm current turnaround times and, if possible, arrange a rush order to ensure your items arrive on time.
• Large orders: Larger projects may take longer to produce. Lead times will vary depending on order volume at the time of purchase.

Whether you’re ordering a handful of items or a large batch, we’ll always work hard to get your products to you as quickly as possible without compromising on quality.

At Merch Kind, we believe eco-friendly, UK-made merchandise should also come with fair, transparent pricing. That’s why we offer our Best Price Promise, if you find the same product cheaper elsewhere, we’ll beat that price by 5%.

Here’s how:

1. Send us the competitor’s written quote.
2. We’ll check it against your order details.
3. If it qualifies, we’ll adjust your order and give you the best value guaranteed.

The Conditions

To keep things clear and fair, our Best Price Promise applies under the following conditions:

• The competitor must be a UK-based company.
• The comparison must be like-for-like (same product, size, finish, and order quantity).
• The competitor’s price must be lower, including all taxes (including VAT), postage, and packing charges.
• The product must be in stock and available for immediate purchase from the competitor.
• No affiliate, promotional, voucher code, or media discounts to be used in conjunction.
• Any other retailer’s price match promotion which offers an additional rebate, refund, or other benefit is excluded.
• We must be able to verify the competitor’s lower price to our satisfaction before applying the 5% discount.
• Quotes based on sales, special offers, or discounts are not eligible.
